Remodeled top-floor one-bedroom in Mesquite Country Club, gated, south Palm Springs! You open the door and the ceiling goes up instead of across.… An arched window over the entry pours light down a wall that runs a full story tall, and it stays bright in here all day. Tile runs wall to wall through every room with no carpet anywhere, cool underfoot and easy to keep clean. The kitchen and bath were taken down and redone. Galley kitchen with counter along both sides so you can actually cook, white shaker cabinets, quartz, a deep double sink under a window full of palms, and a full-height pantry. Stainless throughout. The bath got quartz and a tiled tub and shower with a glass panel instead of a curtain. The bedroom has a whole wall of mirrored closet that holds more than you would expect and bounces the light back across the room. Two balconies, and they do different things. The bedroom opens onto the west side, where an old tree leans over the rail, and the mountains show through past the palm trunks. That is the sunset seat. The living room opens onto a covered one, deep enough for a table and two chairs. Your washer and dryer are out there too, in their own closet. No basket down the stairs, no quarters, no waiting on a machine. Upper level, one flight of exterior stairs, no elevator. Nobody above you, and the ceiling height that only comes with being on top. Then you step outside into thirty-three acres of lawn, fountains, hedges, and palms four stories tall. Pools and spas are spread across the property instead of stacked in one clubhouse, so they never feel crowded. The closest one to this building has its own spa and looks straight at the mountains. Covered parking included. Shops and restaurants are close by, and downtown Palm Springs is about five minutes out. Come take a look!
