Tenant Responsibilities & Property Guidelines 1. Smoking Policy: Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the apartment unit, hallways, basement, and any part of the building. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property and must be done at a respectful distance from entrances and windows. 2. Pet Policy: Only pets explicitly listed and approved in the lease agreement are allowed on the premises. No additional pets may be brought into the unit without prior written consent from the landlord. The total number of pets may not exceed two (2) cats. Tenants are responsible for keeping pet areas clean and free of waste at all times. 3. Garbage Disposal: Tenants are expected to regularly dispose of household garbage in the designated outdoor bins. Trash may not be left in hallways, porches, or common areas under any circumstances. 4. General Maintenance: Tenants are responsible for routine upkeep within their apartment, including but not limited to: Replacing lightbulbs Keeping the apartment and its fixtures clean and in good condition Reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance issues to the landlord in a timely manner Cleanliness and respect for the property and shared spaces are expected throughout the duration of the lease
