Note that the USPS address for this property is Bradford, Vermont but it is actually located in Fairlee, Vermont, near the town line with Bradford. We prefer a year-long lease. A security deposit equivalent to one month's rent is required. No pets are allowed, and the property is smoke-free. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 6am. Guests are welcome as long as they are respectful of the property. The simple application process includes a credit report, background check, and personal references. Renter's insurance is required, which must be purchased separately by the renter, and costs approximately $9 a month. The property comes with a designated parking spot for your convenience. Electricity (including heat and air conditioning are separately paid). All other utilities, including water and internet suitable for streaming and video calls, are included in the monthly rent. Please note that trash and recycling services are not included (you will need to take those once a week to the local transfer center), and there is no washer/dryer on site but a laundry is available in the local town. For your safety, the apartment is equipped with a hardwired smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Plowing and mowing services are also provided. Tenant will be responsible for clearing their own deck and stairs of snow and any ice (a shovel and ice melt will be provided).
