House Policies and Rules To ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for everyone, all occupants and guests are expected to follow these policies: No Smoking Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the house. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, and any other smoking products. Pets are not allowed on the property unless prior written approval has been granted. Parking Rules Vehicles may not be parked on the curb or street for extended periods of time. All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas and comply with local regulations and HOA requirements. HOA Compliance The property is located within a Homeowners Association (HOA) community. All residents and guests must comply with all HOA rules, regulations, and community standards. Any fines resulting from violations will be the responsibility of the resident responsible for the violation. Utilities Residents are responsible for paying their own utility bills on time. This includes, but is not limited to, electricity, water, gas, internet, cable, and any other services assigned to the resident. Failure to maintain utility payments may be considered a violation of the occupancy agreement. Cleanliness and Housekeeping Residents are expected to keep the house clean, sanitary, and well-maintained at all times. Common areas should be kept organized, and trash should be disposed of properly. Property Care Residents must respect and maintain the condition and structure of the property. Any damage caused by a resident, their family members, or guests must be repaired or reimbursed by the responsible party. Failure to comply with these policies may result in warnings, fines, liability for damages, or termination of occupancy privileges, as applicable. This wording is appropriate for a rental agreement, roommate agreement, or house rules document.
