Subject: Room Rental Terms Dear Tenant, This letter is to confirm the terms of the room rental at: 424 Elmont Road Virginia Beach VA 23452 Room: 1 Room with bathroom in the hall. ( This bathroom will be shared with guest) Use of living room, den, and kitchen is open for your use. No extra furniture or kitchen utensils will be added to what is already in the home. Move-in Date: _____________________ Rent: $1000.00, is due on the 1st of each month. Late fee will begin upon 5 days, after the first, of $15.00 per day. Security Deposit: $250.00 (this will be refunded to you upon move out , upon inspection of room and bathroom and will be refunded if no damage has been found) No extra holes in the wall if there is you need to repair that and I do have touch-up paint. Utilities: Included in Rental price, cable, water, lights. Toiletries: You provide your own toiletries such as toilet paper, and washing detergent- paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, will be shared in the kitchen and that will be a shared expense between us both. Cleaning: You will be responsible for cleaning your own room and bathroom, and cleaning up after yourself in the living areas and the kitchen and bathroom. ( You will be in charge of buying your own cleaning products, I will not provide them) Term: 1 year, 12 months ( 30-day notice is needed before move out or you will be charged for additional month, also if this agreement does not work you have 30 days to find another place to live upon notice) Guests: Guests are allowed upon notice of visit. No overnight stay is allowed. If family is in town guest bedroom is available for a period of time. There may be a charge for extra use for water and utilities during this time. NO SMOKING ALLOWED
