This location is perfect for graduate students and young professionals who study or work near Midtown or downtown and seek to escape Atlanta's notorious rush-hour traffic. The house is conveniently located near to: Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Emory Hospital, Tech Square, Deloitte and several other prominent universities, businesses, and institutions in Atlanta. It's also very easy to access I-85 from our house. Fine dining, grocery stores, bars and lounges, outdoor concerts, parks, walking and bike trails, yoga studios, gyms, shopping centers, world-famous theatre, and a fun and active nightlife await your leisure! Interior: In addition to high ceilings and polished hardwood floors, the house is newly equipped with centralized zone air conditioning and heating, which allows the temperature of the lower and upper floors to be set independently. The large updated kitchen features a new wrap-around quartz countertop, white subway tile backsplash, plenty of cabinet and counter space and fantastic natural lighting. Exterior: The enclosed backyard has a patio, fire pit, grill and lounge chairs. Part of backyard is being turned into an organic vegetable garden. Last but not least, the house is protected by an extensive security system with 24-hour monitoring by Ackerman Security. Room: We have one available room (the master bedroom) which is on the lower floor. It has large windows and gets a lot of natural light, especially in the morning and afternoon. It shares a full-bathroom with one other room. It has a spacious closet and comes furnished with a full-size bed and frame, desk/chair, bureau of drawers, and mini-fridge. Parking: There is plenty of off-street parking, as well as an alleyway next to our house that comfortably fits six cars. We also have space inside the house to store bicycles. Our neighborhood is very walkable. However, Atlanta's public transportation isn't the greatest, so we recommend that you either plan to drive or bike to work/school. Utilities are not included in rent. Shared monthly costs are a flat rate to cover the following services: Gas, electric, water, sewage: $45 High-speed internet: $15 Security: $10 Residents: This is a spacious, communal house with positive, successful, and friendly tenants. You will have five housemates, all working professionals in our twenties or thirties. We are quiet, clean, LGBT-friendly, non-discriminatory and considerate; and we seek similar qualities in housemates. Tenant responsibilities: This is a shared living community. We expect all tenants to act respectfully and responsibly towards each other and the house. We all contribute to keeping the house clean with weekly chores. Participating in chores is mandatory, and failure to do so will be a breach of the lease and lead to eviction. Drugs and smoking are not allowed on the property. SIX MONTH MINIMUM LEASE. However, you can rent month to month for an additional fee. Background screening, credit check and two references (including one from present landlord) required Security deposit = first month's rent
