The neighborhood

About the building

Great bungalow with modern renovations but cool character from this classic style, located in a really nice, safe neighborhood, close to everything… including Uptown - walk to the very center for work or pleasure in 25-30 minutes or so. One minute drive to get on 77 or 277, a few minutes to get to 85 - so you can quickly and easily get anywhere in the Charlotte area. The Gold Line streetcar is up and running, and it's just a few minute walk from the bungalow over to one of the stops where you can grab a ride into Uptown or through the heart of the city and into Plaza Midwood. Lawn care is included but all the usual utilities are the responsibility of the tenant (water, electric, gas, internet). The house has granite & tile throughout, hardwoods, stainless appliances, relatively new LG washer & dryer, front porch, large back deck, large back yard, and pet friendly. There are built-ins in the living room and an installed wall mount ready for your TV and connected devices. Note: The photos show how the house looked when it was our primary home and during its Airbnb days. It's now unfurnished, so you'll have a blank canvas to make it your own. A new and efficient full HVAC system was installed October 2024 to keep the house comfortable throughout the year and is paired with a Nest thermostat so you can easily set up schedules or adjust the temperature from anywhere. There is also a CPI Security Alarm installed and the tenant can activate monitoring if interested. The front door has a digital deadbolt which makes it easy to come and go with no need to fumble for keys. One last thing to note is that my wife and I do live next door. We're pretty chill, and it's been a great several years being neighbors with all of our tenants.
