Hi everyone! We are looking for someone to take over our lease, potentially starting in August, with the lease running through May 31, 2027. This is a beautiful, cozy, and very well-maintained 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment in a wonderful Chapel Hill location, about a 10-minute walk to UNC campus. It is close enough to campus to be extremely convenient but still feels peaceful and tucked away. The apartment is on the second floor facing Bolin Creek, so it is very quiet. You do not hear traffic from the apartment. Instead, you get to enjoy a beautiful view of greenery and trees from the windows, which makes the space feel calm, bright, and relaxing. Rent: $2,100/month Parking: $100/month for a parking spot Available: Potentially starting in August Lease ends: May 31, 2027 The apartment has a bright bedroom with large windows and built-in storage, a comfortable living room, a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island, plenty of cabinet space, in-unit laundry, updated flooring, and a clean modern bathroom. The space gets lovely natural light and has a warm, peaceful feel throughout. One of our favorite things about this apartment is the atmosphere of the building. It is a quiet apartment community and does not have a college-party environment. The tenants are respectful of one another and of quiet hours, so it is a great fit for a graduate student, faculty member, medical student, visiting scholar, professional, or anyone affiliated with UNC or Duke who is looking for a calm and comfortable home. Whether you are studying, teaching, working remotely, or simply looking for a peaceful place close to campus and nature, this could be a wonderful fit for you. All furniture shown in the photos belongs to us. We are happy to remove the furniture before move-in, but we are also open to leaving the apartment furnished for one or two years if that would be helpful. Most of the furniture is less than a year old, in excellent condition, and has been very well cared for. Since we are moving into a place that is already furnished, we are happy to discuss furniture options with anyone who is interested. We also want to mention that the rental application and apartment are managed by a wonderful agent who has been extremely kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our time here. She has always answered our questions promptly and has taken great care of the apartment and any maintenance needs. We truly cannot recommend her service enough. We truly love this apartment and are sad to leave. The only reason we are moving is due to a personal change in our circumstances, not because of anything about the apartment.
