Our old home in Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver is available for 1 year lease after five years of occupancy from the previous tenants.… Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, salons, yoga studios, breweries, and only 3 doors down from La Raza Park. Easy access to I70 from Pecos St to get out to the mountains or airport. Easy access to I25 and downtown Denver from 38th Avenue. King Soopers, Safeway, and Whole Foods grocery stores close by. Great neighborhood with a mix of new, younger residents and longtime north side families, ample street parking and off-street parking in your own oversized garage in the alley (comfortably fits one car, ie: Subaru Outback, with space for bikes, toys, etc.). Be downtown in about 10 minutes on bike, DIA or mountains in about 30, or hang out in La Raza Park and enjoy the shade and grass or entertain friends at home from the spacious back yard. Front door opens from covered porch to living room and small stairs leading up to two bedrooms. Bedrooms have sloped, non-conforming ceiling, maximum comfortable occupant height is ~6'+, above 6'2" is getting pretty uncomfortable upstairs. Back "main" bedroom has a mini-split AC/heat unit to serve small upstairs. Main level has 8' ceilings and kitchen has granite counters, gas range/oven, side by side fridge w/ filtered water and ice. Bathroom is off north end of kitchen with tub/shower, toilet, small vanity. Mechanical (gas boiler & water heater), laundry, and access to backyard/garage is off south end of kitchen. Back yard is xeriscaped with large deck and pavers leading to the detached one car garage. Backyard is set up for gardening if you have a green thumb, we spent years amending the soil with compost and would yield some huge tomato and zucchini harvests.
