Located on the west-facing side of the building, the unit is positioned away from Aurora Avenue traffic. This well-designed 9-unit property sits above ground-floor commercial spaces and is just minutes from downtown Seattle and the heart of Fremont's shopping, dining, and business district. The apartment spans three levels, with a bedroom and full bathroom located on both the second and third floors. The top-floor primary bedroom offers additional privacy, while both bedrooms provide generous closet space. The living room opens onto a large west-facing deck, and the second-floor bedroom includes its own private deck as well. Peak-a-boo views of the Olympic Mountains add to the appeal. One enclosed garage parking spot (priced at $75) is included in the rent. The property also offers convenient access to public transportation and major bus routes. There is a substantial amount of "free on-street" parking available in the area for additional vehicles Please note that this is a non-smoking property. Renters insurance with $500K personal liability coverage is required (usual cost is less than $20 per month) -- if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. The initial lease term is a minimum of 12 months, with flexible extension options available thereafter. The building does not have an elevator. Tenants are responsible for all utilities. Electricity is individually metered, and you pay it directly to Seattle City Light. Water is "sub-metered, and along with sewer and garbage, is billed back to you separately approximately every two months. Pet Policy: Up to two household pets permitted (cats only). Pets must be at least one year old, housebroken/litter box trained, spayed or neutered, and current on legally required vaccinations. Additional deposits and monthly rent apply for "pets". Pet deposits are $400 for one pet and $500 for two pets. Monthly pet rent is $35 for one pet and $50 for two pets. There is no additional deposit or monthly rent for approved service or ESA animals. Monthly living costs include our Resident Benefits Program, which offers convenient ACH ("no-check") rent payments, $1,000 accidental damage protection, emergency overnight housing assistance, security deposit review assistance, lockout/lost key protection, and additional resident-focused benefits. While this is a separate $30 fee, it is included in the monthly rent listed. Applicants are encouraged to personally view the property prior to applying.
