Winter rental. Available early November until late May. Enjoy lake living! This is a fully furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath, single floor, open concept home. It was completely gutted and renovated in 2015/2016. The washer and dryer are new. New furnace. Stainless steel fridge and stove. Views of the water from almost every window. Wildlife abounds including eagles, ducks, loons, herons, fox, etc... There are hiking trails that you can walk to from the house. When the lake is frozen you can walk, snowshoe, ice skate and cross country ski on the lake or many areas close by, including a golf course a few minutes away. The house is on a dirt road...so all wheel drive or snow tires are recommended. Heat, electricity, plowing, mowing, internet are included. The tenant is responsible for shoveling the walkway to the driveway and keeping snow away from the crawlspace door on the side of the house. Portland is less than 20 minutes away. Maine Medical Center is less than 25 minutes, depending upon traffic. The closest supermarket is 8-10 minutes, gas and a good cup of coffee is 5 minutes. If you don't want to go in to Portland, a few good restaurants are 5-10 minutes. There are two small downhill ski areas less than an hour away and Sunday River is about 1 1/2 hours away. The owner lives next door. The neighbor on the other side is friendly, as are the other neighbors on the road. We require at least 2 references, as well as a signed lease.
