Walk to the beach from a stylish & newly renovated upper-level unit just south of the Venice Pier. You'll be 1 block to the ocean & mins away from many restaurants, shops & bars on Washington Square. This stunning space features a full kitchen, bedroom w king bed, & a loft space above for storage. There's a private outdoor patio w a bistro table where you can enjoy the sun, too. It's a great work from home spot. Washer/dryer & parking for 1 vehicle on site.
The space
Enjoy beach life at its finest while staying in our recently remodeled 1-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment that's just a block from the ocean. This is an upper-level unit that features a full kitchen, mid-sized living room, bedroom with a king bed, a stunning bathroom, and a small outdoor patio area with bistro table seating.
We are located in a quiet area that's close to many nearby attractions. It's just a few minutes walk from Washington Square, where there are several great local eateries, coffee shops, restaurants, and retail spaces. The Venice Canals and the Venice Boardwalk are also quick jaunt on foot. Our area is very walk/bike friendly.
The living room features a large L-shaped couch and a 55" SMART TV that's loaded with apps like Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc. We have a desk where you can get some work done if needed. There's also a dining table just off the kitchen with seating for 4.
Our recently renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances and has a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. We provide dishware, glassware, utensils, cookware, and most items needed to make a meal. There's also a toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, and blender.
The bedroom features a comfy and luxurious king-size bed as well as a dresser and closet. We also have a 50" SMART TV. There's a loft space above with a low ceiling where you can store other items if you'd like or perhaps use it as a meditation/yoga room (we have a mat for you!). The connecting bathroom features all new tiling and fixtures . There's also an extra deep bathtub with a skylight window above.
We have a small patio area just outside the entrance door to the apartment. It features a bistro table with seating for two. It's a good spot to relax with a book, enjoy dinner alfresco, or even work during the day.
The apartment is a great place for a small family or friend group, couples, or solo adventurers. We also welcome business travelers and those working from home. We have strong WiFi and the desk or dining table make great work spaces.
If you would like to book for longer than we have the calendar open for, please do inquire, as we can often open it up beyond.
Guest access
You will have exclusive access to the apartment and patio area. You will have one parking space in our carport that can fit a standard or mid-sized vehicle. There's also a washer/dryer onsite that you are welcome to use.
Other things to note
ENTRANCE: This is an upper-level, back house unit on a lot with a front house where a tenant lives. There is a separate and private entrance to this unit as well as a privacy fence between the unit and the main house. There are no shared spaces There are 14 steps to the top where your entrance is located.
PARKING: We offer free on-site parking for one mid-sized vehicle. The space is a covered carport, but it is not a gated garage.
Temperature Controls: We have a mini-split in the bedroom and the living room area for heating and AC as well as space heaters.
Check-In/Check-Out Times: We use a self-check-in system that allows you to check-in at 4pm or any time after. Check out time is 11am. We don't allow early check-ins or late check-outs.
SUPPLIES: We are happy to provide you with some basic essential supplies at the start of your stay, such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, spices, etc. If you need more, though, you will need to get that yourself as we don't provide bottomless refills as part of your stay. There are several markets that are nearby and walking distance where you can easily get essentials.
WiFi: We have the strongest wireless internet offered by our provider. "Work from home" guests should have no trouble with speed and video conferencing calls.
PACKAGE DELIVERY: You must get permission before having any packages or letters mailed to our home. We do not offer concierge service and as such you are responsible for signing and retrieving any packages delivered to you. We are not responsible for any mail that is lost or stolen.
LAUNDRY: We have an on-site laundry room with a washer and dryer that you are welcome to use. Usage is free and we do provide detergent. Please note that our cleaners sometimes use the machines between 11am-4pm.
SECURITY CAMERA: We have a camera that records outside of the carport area. The camera is pointed toward the parking space. It records outside only and does not record anything inside or behind the entrance gate to the unit.
