With two-story high windows overlooking the entire Salt Lake 100-square-mile valley, the views are staggering. High up in Olympus Cove with no backyard neighbors, it's also super quiet so you'll sleep great. Located in one of the most elite neighborhoods in all of Salt Lake, it has a great kitchen and lots of open space. 3000 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and completely remodeled and newly furnished in 2024.
The front yard is also at the start of a major hiking trail accessing the Z Trail and Mount Olympus.
You will love living here. It is quite a spectacular house and location.
The nitty gritty:
-I run credit and criminal background checks and the fee for this is $40. Must have a 700 credit score or higher. A $2,000 security deposit is totally refundable if the place is left clean and undamaged.
-No smoking and no smokers period no exceptions.
-Cats (not dogs) considered for an additional fee.
-No more than 3 persons.
-Here's a caveat (and why the rent is so reasonable): only fit people should apply because you'd park on the street and I have a very steep driveway, so it does require some physical effort to live here.
More on the location:
-10 highway minutes to downtown.
-20 30 highway minutes to Park City or Deer Valley (Parleys Canyon is right next door).
-7 minutes to the base of Little or Big Cottonwood Canyons.
You literally could not be better placed in Salt Lake for access to all the ski resorts or great restaurants and easy access to the entire city. If you want to sample all the ski resorts this house is located perfectly halfway between the Cottonwood Canyon resorts (Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, Brighton are all 15 20 minutes away) and the Park City resorts (Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley are all 25 minutes away). You'd drive right near our house going in either direction. Great if half the family wants groomers (Deer Valley) and half the family wants more challenging terrain (Snowbird), then meet up for dinner and a glorious view afterwards.
A few other things:
-This rental does not include the garage.
-My personal belongings remain in the closets and drawers while I'm gone, but space will be cleared out for your co-use.
-For winter stays, snow removal is not provided. Instead, a burly snowblower is available for your use, and the driveway is heated, which can be turned on to remove excess snow after using the snowblower.
-A mini house in the backyard can be added to the rental for an extra fee.
-Utilities are included unless usage becomes excessive (for example, heating the home to 80 day and night or running the heated driveway for days during a storm).
-Internet is great.
-Gas stove.
-Two gas fireplaces with blowers (one in living room and one in master bedroom).
-High-end super comfy mattresses and sheets.
-Full kitchen.
