House available July 15, possibly a bit earlier (we are in the midst of repainting the interior, refreshing the garden, restaining the wrap around deck etc.) One year lease, renewable one year at a time. Note that long term yearly cycle goes from June 1 to May 31 of the following year, so first year lease would stop at May 31. We are looking for long term rental and multi-year lease is an option. Last tenant stayed 12 years. Pets negotiable. No smoking, no vaping in house permitted. Renter in charge of utilities. Landlord takes charge of gardening.

The neighborhood

About the building

Beautiful and very well located 4BR/3BR/1 office house, with large garden and backyard, large wrap around deck, Subzero and Wolf appliances, tons of… storage and a two-car garage. Wonderful space for entertaining with open kitchen and large dramatic living room space. Walk to downtown Mill Valley, library, Old Mill School etc. is less than 10 minutes, using the Dipsea Steps, enjoying gorgeous redwoods rather than dealing with traffic. House is currently being renovated (re-staining deck, repainting interior, cleaning up garden etc.) but should be ready for lease on July 15, possibly earlier. We will have open houses at 5pm on July 8, 11am on July 11 and 10am on July 12. Please contact me ahead of time if you would like to see the house.
