1 Year lease required. School year lease also an option. Previous rental references required. Rent is due on the first of the month. Late fees apply after 5 days. Utilities due upon receipt. There is a working fireplace which must be service (at renter expense) before use. This is an old house, on the historic register of Rhinebeck. Owner lives on the property in a separate dwelling (remodeled barn). Property has a septic system and well. Solar panels reduce a significant portion of the electric bill depending on the month. It is in a very natural setting, with lots of wildlife. Access to the house is not ADA friendly unfortunately. When the property loses power in a storm, there is a manually operated generator, nothing automatic. Smoking prohibited in the house. There is parking space available for up to two cars included in the lease.

Rental cost is $3500 plus utilities (oil, electric and internet). Snowplowing and landscape maintenance costs are taken care of by the owner. A year lease is offered, but a school year lease is acceptable. Available Sept 1, 2026. Furnishings may vary from what is shown in photographs.
