The outside and inside of the house have been freshly painted. We are renovating the kitchen will all new cabinets, countertop, sink, glass cooktop... I don't have photos yet because we are still putting in the new faucet, backsplash, open floating shelves, etc. If interested, I would be happy to send individuals photos of where we are now. The white shaker cabinets and quartz top are looking really nice so far. We also put in a band new apartment size washer and dryer. The place will be ready by June 15 and possibly before. The photos I will be posting will be old photos.
We were hoping to do furnished midterm rentals, 3-6 months so that we could have family come and stay. I will be open to a longer term 12 month lease unfurnished or partly furnished.
One of the bedrooms has only one window and is a bit darker, good for someone that needs to rest during the day. There is currently no AC. We are not opposed to an AC window unit in this room, but we may adjust rent or have renter pay utilities. The other bedroom has two big windows and has a lot of sunshine.
This is a downstairs unit with its own entry and dedicated parking. The upstairs unit is rented to a very quiet, respectful professional couple (naval officer and nurse). We are looking for the same for this two bedroom. There will be shared mailbox and trash duties.
The outdoor area is small, but sufficient for a BBQ. I am going to be planting some more tropical botanicals and hoping for a tenant that will enjoy them and even give them a little water now and then.
We are located close to Kailua town in a quiet neighborhood. On a bike you could be in Kailua or at the beach very quickly. The location is good for commuting as the highway is nearby to get to Honolulu or any other part of the island.
