We are less than 2 blocks to MacArthur BART, with easy access to 580 and 24 highways and less than a half-mile from both Piedmont Ave and the heart of Temescal. Walkscore: 90 "Walkers Paradise" and Bikescore: 95 "Biker's Paradise"
This lovely studio is off the street, overlooking the shared back yard, with lots of great light. This apartment recently underwent a complete remodel. In the living area it has hardwood bamboo floors and double-paned windows. The new kitchen is fantastic for a cook with porcelain tile floors, shaker maple cabinets, granite countertop, a stainless ice maker-refrigerator, a gas 5-burner range, and microwave. The eat-in kitchen also has an peninsula bar area that can easily accommodate 4 stools. The apartment is in excellent condition throughout. It has new plumbing, new electrical, lighting, insulation, and was recently painted.
At just over 400 square feet, it seems much larger due to the open plan, many windows, and high 9' ceilings. Traditional molding give this apartment a large and classic feel. Light comes into this end-unit apartment from three directions. There is lots of storage with a 5' full-height closet and plentiful cabinets.
