Upper 4-Bedroom Home for Long-Term Rent (Available Oct 1, 2026) We're renting out our upper 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath home starting October 1, 2026. The home is part of a two-unit property in Halifax's North End, with a long-term tenant living in the lower unit separately. This is our main upper home around 2,500 sq ft across multiple floors and it's fully furnished. We've lived here and set it up to be a comfortable long-term home, not a short-term or rental-style setup. We're ideally looking for a 6 - 12 month lease, but month-to-month can be considered after that. The upper unit is completely private with its own entrance, kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms. There is also a private rooftop patio that belongs to this unit and is not shared. We're leaving the furniture in place because it just makes more sense for a home this size, but tenants will need to bring their own bedding, towels, and personal items (no toiletries or supplies will be provided). Utilities (electricity, gas/propane, and water) are the tenant's responsibility. WiFi is included since it's shared between the two units. Parking is shared in a four-car driveway, and the backyard is also shared with the lower unit tenant. Everyone has lived here respectfully and it's a quiet setup. The house is in a great residential area in the North End of Halifax with nice harbour views, sunrises, and sunsets. It's a family-oriented neighbourhood and definitely not a party house. We're looking for respectful long-term tenants ideally families or professionals who want a stable home. Pets may be considered with approval (and a deposit for dogs). Rent is $7,495/month plus utilities.
