About the building

We're looking for a great tenant to rent our downstairs apartment near Concord Ave & Walden St. The Apartment: It's a two-bedroom, two-bath first-floor unit in our two-family home- we live upstairs. Our current tenants have been wonderful neighbors and we'd love to find someone with that same spirit. We live here year-round and are always available. The unit has central A/C, a private back porch, and access to our shared fenced backyard. The kitchen has a full fridge and dishwasher. The basement has a washer/dryer dedicated to the downstairs unit, plus your own storage space. Utilities: Tenants pay electricity and gas for heating. The current tenants average around $90/month for gas and $115/month for electric (ranges roughly $17-190 for gas and $68-170 for electric depending on season). We cover hot water and sewer. Parking: One off-street parking spot is included. If you need a second, we can talk about it. Pets: We're pet friendly- just want to chat about it first. Non-smoking unit and property. The Neighborhood: We really like this part of Cambridge. Danehy Park is five minutes away- playing fields, a dog park, and a playground. Fresh Pond is just a short distance away for walking and running paths around the reservoir year-round. Huron Village is a short walk: Hi-Rise, La Saison, and good coffee are all right there. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are both under 10 minutes on foot. Harvard Square is walkable in 15-20 minutes or a quick bus ride on the 74/75/78, and both Porter and Alewife T stops are within a comfortable walk. It's a family-oriented street with neighbors who actually know each other and summer block parties.
