Shared kitchen but you will have your own fridge, freezer and pantry spaces. Plenty of storage space inside and an external building that we can arrange to share the space.

About the building

Room available is in the walk out basement. The room will be getting new paint on the walls and floor plus trim.… State of room in pictures does not represent what it will look like when you move in. We are looking for someone mindful, respectful, open minded, good at communication, and with a stable flow of life. This is a sublet. Open to initial trial period and longer term room mate is ideal. We can discuss length of agreement. You will essentially have the basement for yourself. The area near the garage door (which could be like your own living room) and the shop are shared just as the upstairs is shared but this is a space you could more or less make your own. I may occasionally use the shop for projects but otherwise won't spend much time down there. The garage door opens up to the nice back yard. The previous room mate ended up buying a house but had made these spaces a sweet vibe to be in. You will be able to deck it out however you like. Possibly open to a cat or small dog. Lots of space for gardening. We like to have people over sometimes and may throw an occasional potluck. Often we just enjoy the space for ourselves. Open to you having trusted people over too. Nice little forest area in the back of the giant backyard to enjoy. The upstairs living room has surround sound and a big screen projector which we use mindfully.

You will be living with me, a male in his 30s and my 11 year old daughter. We are both fun loving, relaxed and open minded people. Good communicators and like to keep the space clean.
