Frazier Park is 3 miles west of interstate 5, a 45-minute drive from either the San Fernando Valley to the south, or Bakersfield to the north. Major shopping is available in Bakersfield or Santa Clarita (35 miles south). Frazier Park itself has a grocery store, a medical clinic, an Ace Hardware store, churches, and cute shops and restaurants. There is also a beautiful new library and a lovely large park with a paved walking trail and pond close-by the house. Further to the west is Mt. Pinos with fantastic hiking in giant pines, mountain bike trails, and snow play.
