RECREATION EQUIPMENT: Lastly, tenants enjoy free access to two pairs of snowshoes, a bobsled, an inter-tube, two sets of golf clubs, tennis racks, a Vesl Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Board, a Challenger inflatable kayak, an inflatable paddleboat, and a floatie. GETTING AROUND What is the distance to the Ski Lifts, Village, Restaurants, and shops? LAKE LINK FREE RIDESHARE: South Lake Tahoe operates a FREE pick-up service for the tourist core area. Keywords: South lake Tahoe Lake Link WALKING: California Lodge, the central lift base of Heavenly ski resort, is 0.7 miles uphill from the house. A tougher walk uphill, but nice walk home. To and from the gondola in the village is about a 15-20 min. walk with gear. SHUTTLE: The walk to the ski shuttle from home (mostly grade/downhill) is about 10 minutes towards the lake, but longer back due to the incline. RIDESHARE: Ride Share is our favorite way to hop from lift to lift, village and back. (Uber operates in South Lake Tahoe). CAR: Village, lifts, lake are all within a couple/few minutes of a drive. The home is in central South Lake Tahoe. The only challenge can be traffic congestion to stores/restaurants within the 2-mile radius. BIKE: Biking is one of the most enjoyable activities in the area during all seasons except for snow season/inclement weather. Bike friendly town and endless trails to explore.
