Walking distance to trains, bus, library, food-cooperative, coffee and ice cream shop, restaurants, walking trail, other parks.
This is Elkins Park living at its best. This is a 'visit-in-person' if you have serious interest in living in Elkins Park. The upscale neighborhood is very desirable and is vastly nicer than those of other apartments advertised nearby. Many universities, schools (public and private), hospitals and medical centers also nearby.
This unit is spacious (approximately 1050 square feet) and is quite comfortable. There are 6 closets, including an in-bath linen closet to keep things neat and uncluttered. Bedroom #1 is approximately 15ft x 25ft... absolutely massive. Bedroom #2 is approximately 12ft x 16ft (both excluding their respective closet space). Gas Heat (Radiators) and Hot Water, a dishwasher and a dedicated washer/dryer add to the comforts offered.
Improvements include a vinyl plank bathroom floor, a new 16.6cf refrigerator, energy efficient windows, refinishing of all the wood, Butcher Block counters, and a spacious cabinet layout planned by a kitchen designer.
In addition, the front porch was just redone and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the neighborhood. Additionally, the screened-in 3rd floor porch is a great place to sit back and overlook the views of High School Park.
