This unique and charming property is perfectly located in a quiet corner of Cross Lake's West Side.… Situated directly on the lake with direct access for snowmobiles in winter. Dock included; launching is at the public landing. Fully 4-season, this unit includes forced hot air for heat and propane for the oven/range and clothes dryer.
This is 15 minutes to Fort Kent, 25 minutes to Madawaska and 30 minutes to Caribou. Some year-round neighbors are on this road but lots are separated by trees and mostly private. Wake up to loons in summer - great bird viewing, decent fishing.... and northern lights are also known to appear!
This unit is fully furnished with some furniture "trades" negotiable (aka, if you want to swap out the couch or table). Small grill can also be traded out.
Tours will be selective and require an application to schedule. This is a wonderful, unique and cozy cabin that is bigger than it looks! Upstairs bedrooms do not have walls but are slightly separated with a gradated loft. There is 1 Queen, 1 (up to 2) Twin beds; a Full mattress in the cubby and a futon in the living room. Note: xtra sleeping space is for guests. Max occupancy for lease: 4. All adult tenants must complete their own application.
Recent upgrades include a fully renovated kitchen/dormer that gives more space for the upstairs master area (desk / tv etc). Deck freshly stained but looking to upgrade in the next 1-2 years.
