Very large 2 bedroom apartment with a lot of character in a quiet building (only 3 other apartments in the building) on a quiet block (middle of the… street so away from the avenues). The apartment is the entire 4th floor. On a price per square foot basis, I don't think you can find a better deal on the upper east side.
No fees (rented directly from owner). Utilities (electric and gas) are not included.
The larger front bedroom is 16ft x 16ft (can fit king sized bed) and the smaller back bedroom is 14ft x 13ft. There is an additional room off the main bedroom that is 7ft x 10ft and great for a variety of uses (office, closet, etc.). The living room is also very spacious (~21ft x ~16ft) and can fit a full-size couch. The kitchen is ~10ft x 10ft and there is additional space off the side for a dining table. There are full closets in each bedroom as well as the living room. Additional storage space is available for rent. If you're looking for space, this is a great apartment for you.
I'm not a broker, so I will be upfront about downsides: The downsides to the apartment are that it's a 3-flight walkup, the bathroom is small, and there is no laundry in the apartment/building.
Please be prepared to provide basic employment and financial info.
I have a fulltime job outside of managing this property, so please be patient with me in responding to your emails. I'm not looking to rush the process and will try to schedule tours for interested applicants. Fridays and weekends are best to see the apartment. I can potentially show the apartment on weekday evenings but will need to coordinate with the current tenants.
