The Waianae mountain range provides a beautiful backdrop to the town and can be seen from most areas of Wahiawa. For the beach and picnic-goers, the North shore and Haleiwa town is about 20 minutes away. More restaurants, stores and theatres are a short drive away in Mililani Town. This neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are good, friendly people. Very important during the hot summer! - Wahiawa is always a few degrees cooler than the rest of the island.
