Located just steps from the pristine sandy shores via the beach access #1 boardwalk, this townhouse is ideally situated near a variety of dining options, entertainment venues, and shopping destinations. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico, with the beach a 2-minute walk away. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about a 10-15 minute drive from Destin. Due to the tropical climate, you may encounter tropical insects, amphibians, and fish. The space is treated regularly for pests, but occasional encounters with palmetto bugs, wood roaches, mosquitos, and other critters are possible, especially during storms. Snakes such as water moccasins may be seen near rocks. Swimming in the bay carries risks due to aquatic species. Guests must remove shoes when inside the home. Locals must communicate with the host before booking. Check-in time is 4pm or after, and check-out time is 11am. A $50 fee applies for early check-in or late check-out if approved. Guests are responsible for reporting any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 2 hours of check-in. Maximum occupants are strictly enforced, with a $20 per person per day charge for unapproved visitors. Guests must be 18 years of age or older. No events are allowed. Any sign or smell of smoke will incur a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee. Pets are NOT allowed at this property. Guests agree to pay for any damage made to the property. Host or Host's Agent may enter the property at any time in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours' notice for normal maintenance. Guests are asked to be respectful of bed sheets and towels; makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning.
