The floors are refinished, original 1930s heart pine wood floors. The living room and dining room are connected by a beautiful, wide archway. The dining room also contains a perfect corner cabinet with both display and closable shelving space, as well as two accent shelves located high up in two corners. The L-shaped kitchen is a chef?s dream! With tons of cabinetry, plenty of counter space, updated appliances and excellent natural light. You will find yourself wanting to spend more time in the kitchen. The bathroom was one of the most intensive projects I tackled on this home. I completely gutted the old bathroom down to the studs and sub-floor. From there, I moved the plumbing and electrical to accommodate a much more user friendly bathroom. The old window was removed and replaced by a gorgeous, large, safe and private glass block window. A new vanity sink and cabinet was installed, with additional decorative vanity lighting. Recently we redid the back porch. I cannot say enough about this wonderful home. We loved living here before our careers required us to leave Gainesville. There are more amenities listed below.
