The rate is applicable when billed upfront; it can be higher if billed in multiple payments. Feel at home in this cozy, recently updated 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom beach bungalow on Okaloosa Island. Located just a short walk from the sugar-white sand and emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this charming unit offers easy access to the boardwalk and island attractions. This bungalow features two bedrooms with comfortable queen-size memory foam mattresses, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Relax in the outdoor egg chairs or enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. The functional kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner electric stove top, a microwave, and a fridge, along with all necessary cookware and dishes. For your convenience, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and aloe vera are provided. The original terrazzo floors are a standout feature. The home also boasts a premium RainSoft whole-house water filtration system for purified water. Parking is available right outside your door. An EV charger is available in a designated parking space, with usage requiring payment. Parking is first-come, first-served. Situated in the quiet Bluefish neighborhood, this property is tucked between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2-minute walk via the boardwalk, which also connects to the intercoastal waterway. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about a 10-15 minute drive to Destin. The neighborhood is conveniently located near restaurants and bars. The Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is also within walking distance. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. Early check-in and late check-out requests will result in additional fees. This is a non-smoking property, and a $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee will be charged if there is evidence of smoke. Guests swim at their own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty at the beach. Due to the tropical climate, tropical insects and wildlife may be encountered. The property is treated regularly for pests, but encounters are sometimes out of control. Snakes such as water moccasins may be seen near rocks. Swimming in the bay carries risks due to aquatic species. Guests are expected to remove shoes when inside the home. A Minut Smart Home Sensor monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry. Guests agree to pay a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered after check-out. Pets are not allowed. No events or vendors are permitted. Guests must report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 2 hours of check-in. Guests must use rails when using stairs and be accompanied by an adult. Guests should wear shoes and watch where they step in yards, and check for pets. Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises unless approved in writing by the host/manager. Guests exceeding occupancy will be immediately evicted without refund and may be charged $20 per person per day for visitors not identified in the reservation. Guests must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking. Guests agree to pay any damage made by guests or their visitors to the property and its furnishings. Host, or Host's Agent may enter the Property at any time, with no prior notice, in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours' notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Host shall not be liable to Guest, its guests or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the Property. Guests shall hold Host harmless and indemnify Host from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the Property and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Guests, or invitees. Guests agree to pay any documented loss of host income created by Guest violating house rules. Costs to replace any lost or damaged keys is $25 per key. Guests are asked to kindly dispose of food in the available trash can. Garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. If garbage disposal is damaged or clogged by guest, Guest agrees to be charged for a plumber's time to un-clog or install a new garbage disposal (if needed). No eating of food in any bedroom to prevent pests and linen damage. Guests shall not re-key or change out door locks/ door hardware under any circumstances. Guests are to be respectful of neighbors, and shall keep noise to a minimum while in back or front yards. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction of all guests from Property. No refund will be given for the unused portion of the guests stay. All items in kitchen including silverware, pots/pans, spices, flatware, etc. have been counted, and any item removed from premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are asked to be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Housekeeping will wash all laundry. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. Dragging chairs/tables on hardwood floors will leave scratches on hardwood. At sole discretion of host, an additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost, can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning. If cleaning up after a party or damaged areas, actual damage and cleaning hours will be assessed. There is hot water in the shower, but the handle can be a little tricky for some guests. If the water feels warm but not hot, try turning the handle all the way to the other sideyou might just be in the "warm zone." Still no luck? No worries at all!
