The living area includes a spacious Article leather couch and two rotating boucle chairs, ideal for tree gazing. Enjoy movie nights on a 92-inch movie projector screen with a Bose soundbar. The kitchen is fully stocked for quick meals and includes a coffee bar with a Chemex pourover, French press, and coffee grinder. Smart home comforts include a Nest thermostat and Alexa. Heating and cooling are provided by a gas fireplace and a split ductless A/C and heating system. A Pooh-bear inspired reading loft offers a bird's eye view of the cabin with floor cushions.
One well-behaved pet dog under 50 lbs is welcome. If you have a dog, please note that they must be on leash when outdoors. If the hot tub requires excessive cleaning or a drain, the guest agrees to pay $250.
Welcome to Shasta Forest Village, a friendly neighborhood in Lassen National Forest. You'll be minutes away from Shingletown's downtown area, which includes a pizza parlor, beer garden, groceries, deli, ice cream joint, and boutique shops. The cabin is approximately 20 minutes from Lassen National Park (Manzanita Lake entrance), 20 minutes from wineries in Manton, 30 minutes from Redding, 35 minutes from Old Station / Hat Creek, and 45 minutes from Lake Shasta. The Lassen area is best explored by car.
No shoes in the house, please. Dogs must be kept off all furniture, including beds.
