The area is attractive for those interested in the outdoors with interest in kayaking, canoeing or simply walking to the library, pier, bridge, Ames Park which are all within 10-15 minutes walk. The beach is about 20-30 minutes walk. There is a driveway (and parking area) on Ridgewood Ave directly at front of stairway leading upstairs to the apartment. The apartment is unique as it is part of a large home built in the historic district. (Downstairs is a separate 2 bedroom home which has a separate entrance from Division street and has its separate electric meter)
