Hello! I am looking for a friendly, social, conscientious, clean, and communicative roommate to join our sweet three-bedroom mother in law apartment in Wedgwood (NE Seattle at NE 87th St x 30th Ave NE). Available is one medium-sized bedroom in the apartment -- $720/month -- with backyard, fire with a fire ring and open gardening space, as well as abundant garage space. This apartment, primarily hard flooring, is a sub-basement unit with a separate entrance from the main house. Sub-basement means it really stays quite cool in the summer heat waves! We are about two blocks from 35th Ave NE (the main street in Wedgwood), three blocks from bus route 65, and about eight blocks from the Burke Gilman trail. The photos show the room with a full size bed frame. I will be uploading new photos as our old roommate moves out. Please note the room will be totally empty -- NO RUG or carpeting -- upon move-in. The money: - $720 per month rent includes most utilities. You'll also be responsible for your third of the electric bill and Internet bill (budget $30/month maximum). - One-time refundable security deposit: $400. - You would be signing a lease with the other roommate and me for one year, June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027. The space: - The room is 13.5' x 10.5' including the closet and will be totally unfurnished. There is one window in a window well since this is a sub-basement. - There is ample street parking right next to the driveway if you need it. Free and unzoned. - There is a good amount of space in the garage for bikes, extra storage, etc. - There is a dishwasher, a laundry room with a sink and one-year old washer and dryer, and some extra storage closets. - We have a small backyard (north-facing) with a fire pit and a little patio set. There are some garden beds you'd be welcome to take advantage of!
