Located just steps from beach access #1, this condo is in the heart of Okaloosa Island, a quiet neighborhood nestled between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. Restaurants and bars are a short walk away, and the property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk, providing direct access to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful beach and the intercostal waterway. The Santa Rosa Sound is also a minute or two away. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about a 10-15 minute drive from Destin. As this is a ground-floor unit, you may encounter tropical insects such as Palmetto Bugs and Mosquitos from time to time; keeping the door closed will help prevent them from entering. Check-out time is 10 am, and guests who are not checked out by this time will be charged a $50 fine. A $25 late check-out fee will be charged for each extended hour if approved by the host. Guests agree to pay a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered. There are to be no pets on the property unless prior written authorization is obtained, with a $100 pet fee. Guests who bring a pet without approval will be charged a $300 pet fee and immediately evicted. No events or vendors are permitted on the property. Guests agree to pay any damage made to the property. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction of all guests from the property without refund. Guests are responsible for reporting hazardous items within one hour of occupancy. The space is not child-proofed, and parents are responsible for child-proofing the space to their liking. Guests agree to pay a charge of $20 per person per day for any visitor not identified in the reservation. Guests must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking. Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home. Guests agree to pay a $25 fee for any lost or damaged keys. Guests are asked to kindly dispose of food in the available trash can, and the garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. Guests shall not re-key or change out door locks. Guests are to be respectful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach linens/towels. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning. The condo is equipped with a 55" smart TV in the living room and a smart TV in the main bedroom.
