The neighborhood

About the building

WATERFRONT, PARKSIDE, location. On a quite side street. Two long blocks to the downtown Bremerton ferry that delivers one to DOWNTOWN SEATTLE. Wide open versatile space. Live Work ART STUDIO has been the most common use, but the space is very flexible, as is the zoning; which is "mixed use", includes residential, but allows for many applications Completely fenced with off street parking. Great place for dogs. The location allows a person to access all of downtown Seattle via foot and ferry, and still enjoy a relatively quite waterfront park side base at a price that can't be touched in Seattle. Ideal for Seattle commuters. The Quonset is a military grade structure made from a true 1/4" corrugated steel. It's virtually indestructible, most certainly bullet proof, fire proof, earthquake proof, and very likely to be the last building standing. New upgraded electrical service. Existing natural gas, water, sewer, phone, cable. Sky lights, concrete floors with drain, bay doors, hoists. There is a kitchen: gas stove, gas hot water A bathroom: Toilet, bathtub, shower Within the smaller well insulated internal space with loft Perimeter of property fully chain link fenced with gates allowing access to both sides. Currently rented "where is as is," but I'm open to proposals for modifications Dogs, and cats welcome. Hyenas, name your critter.... probably welcome. IMPROVEMENTS: I am open to those discussions. But do keep in mind, what one person finds to be an improvement, then next renter may not. The devil is the details with such things, I'll listen to proposals, but the space is currently rented where is, as is. I prefer you start the process by writing me a quick email telling me about yourself, your intended use of the space. Do balance the esoteric with things like; credit score, income, employment, desired move in date, desired terms of lease, etc. Showings are not the first step !! There is always a lot of interest, but I am not local, so I sift before I show, and show by appointment. Feel free to leave me a number by which to reach you.
