The spacious and comfortable bonus bedroom is 12 ft by 10 ft with a large two sliding door closet (2ft by 6 ft). It is a quiet room in the back of the house with windows that face the back yard, which is an open field of the church property. It comes furnished with a queen bed with a headboard, 5 drawer dress, two night stands, and a built in desk/tv stand/ book shelves. There is a television available, but a replacement remote will need to be purchased. A chair and other possible furniture could be added too. The house has everything ready a new tenant. If you want to furnish the room with your furniture, that is an option too. The room is an add on to the existing house that is why there is a wall AC unit since the add on didn't continue the duct work for the house's AC. Also, a private entrance is available through the french double doors. The bathroom provided is a shared bathroom with the house manager and his daughter (present in the afternoons and every other weekend). The kitchen has everything and cabinet space to store your food. Everyone share the refrigerator and there is a large freezer in the garage available too. Thank you for your interest in the bonus bedroom for rent. The room is $900 per month. You will be renting from a very cool and authentic divorced 45 year old dad that used to be in the education field, but now is working in the golf industry so he can be available to his young daughter that is 5 years old. She will be at the house in the afternoons after Kindergarten for a few hours during the weekdays and every other weekend she will be staying overnight Friday and Saturday nights. I'm originally from California and lived in San Francisco for over 17 plus years. I'm very easy going, open minded, and accepting of others. My hobbies are sports, anything beach related, all outdoor activities, gardening, cooking, reading, and of course spending time with my daughter. My daughter is very upbeat, playful, creative, and loving. Her safety is priority number one. She is my responsibility and I will never ask any house member to help with that responsibility. The other housemate is a 57 year old male. His is very nice, helpful, and quiet. He works in IT and enjoys cooking, football, and movies. Him and I get along well a have great communication between each other. The house is a lovely 4 bedroom 2 bath house. The fourth bedroom is an add on and adjacent to the pool. The pool is on the small side but is very pleasurable to dip in on hot days or to float and take some stress away. There is a raise bed vegetable garden on the side of the house if you're a gardener. The front yard has a basketball court of you like to shoot hoops. The house is pretty centrally located in the city of Bradenton. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood located between Manatee Ave and Cortez, but closer to Cortez. Grocery stores are a few minutes of a drive away. Downtown is a short drive and the beaches are out 15 minutes away depending on beach traffic. City college is about 7 minutes away if are a student there and the Sarasota colleges are about 15 to 25 minutes away depending on the time of day. The house is a sober home with no partying, drinking, or drugs allowed. It is a family style living situation and community orientated. We help and support one another if possible. There will be a background check conducted before a 6 month or 12 month lease is signed. The first month ($900) and a security deposit ($900) is required before moving in. Total move is cost is $1800. The bonus bedroom is available now and any move in date is available. First month's rent will be prorated if the move in date is not on the 1st of the month. No pets allowed is not entirely accurate. I'm open to pets, but prefer not to have them. If a suitable tenant is selected and they have a pet, an additional $250 will be added to the security deposit. Please contact Justin to set up a date to see the place.
