Available August 1 .… This cozy and charming upper flat is one of two units on the second floor of our 3 family located on the corner of Wentworth and Bennett Avenue . The lower unit is owner occupied. This is the most desirable neighborhood in Bay View . The house was built in 1927 , and converted into a 3 family in 1950. The apartment has been renovated several times trying to honor its history but making it more comfortable. The bathroom is my favorite room with black and white subway tiles , a deep claw foot soaking tub , and an old fashioned shower if you would prefer that. There is also an antique pedestal sink. The apartment has hardwood floors except for the bathroom. The kitchen features the original cabinets which were built in place in 1950 when the apartment was turned into a 3 family. There are solid surface countertops. There is an electric stove and fridge . A patio door has been added to the living room and is an entrance to the deck where you can enjoy the cool breezes from Lake Michigan, and the fire works from the many ethnic festivals at the Summer Fest grounds.There's also central air. The apartment has crown molding and a tin ceiling. The bedroom has an antique ceiling fan that I bought in New Orleans in 1975. In the basement there is a full size stacked washer and dryer, one for each unit . There Is also plenty of storage space. You can walk to Lake Michigan , South Shore beach, South Shore Beer Garden, pavilion and Farmers Market. You can also enjoy the Restaurant and Bar scene in downtown Bay View.
