These 1 bedroom cottages include a queen bed, modern bathroom with open shower and a kitchenette area, and pleasant open porches. Some cottages have extra sleeping or daybed area. Some cottages feature an extra, outdoor private hot/cold shower. Our central Highlands location is one block from a free beach with lifeguard on the Sandy Hook Bay; other scenic town beaches & amazing waterfront trails are a quick walk or bike away. Sandy Hook National Park is a 10 minute bike ride or easy hike where 7 miles of oceanfront beaches and a historic fort are ready to be explored. (No entry fee is needed if you hike or bike into park or, enter after 5pm. Hartshorne Woods Mountain Bike/Hike trails begins in town, too: 800 acres of mountain trails perched high above the junction of 2 major rivers, with expansive ocean and NYC skyline views.
