The condo is about 5 minutes by car to downtown, 12 minutes by bicycle, and about 7 minutes to the airport. Being on the edge of the complex it has nice green views from the dining and kitchen, bamboo flooring in the living room and hallway, open floor plan, nice breezy cross through air flow in the summer with the living room and dining room windows both open, a very quiet efficient furnace, central AC, ceiling fans, new refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, coin-op laundry in adjacent building, bike parking in basement and outside on bike racks, ethernet wired in living room and two bedrooms. Storage area in the adjacent building also. Free off street parking. Water, garbage included. Utilities (gas and electric) not included. Cats only. Dogs not allowed per strict condo rules. This is my only rental property. I work a full time job and own a house on the north side, close to the condo, and I manage it myself. I lived there myself for a few years after I bought it in 2010, then I bought a house in 2015 and have rented the condo for what is strikingly relatively very affordable rent. Sherman Terrace is primarily an owner occupied community, and has a policy for many years to only allow ownership of one condo so that vulture landlords can no longer come in and swoop up properties, which was happening. I pay the condo fees, property tax, either pay for repairs and maintenance or do it myself and so on. Good rental history required, good credit and background check, income verification required.
