This home features an open layout with a cozy living room and wood stove, a full kitchen, and a dining area. The mudroom includes a washer and dryer. Window AC units are provided in two bedrooms from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. A private driver recommendation is available upon request. Located just 9 miles from Plattekill Mountain and 11 miles from Belleayre Mountain, this cabin is perfect for skiing, hiking, swimming, and year-round mountain relaxation. It's a short drive to local shops and restaurants, and close to hiking trails, swimming holes, and seasonal activities. Transportation is necessary in this area, as Uber or Lyft services may be limited. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No parties or events are allowed, and the guest count must match the reservation. Daytime visitors require prior approval. No pets are allowed. The property is on a private well and septic system; please use water conservatively and flush only toilet paper. Due to the rural, mountainous setting, AWD, FWD, or 4WD vehicles with all-weather tires are recommended for winter travel (October-April). The driveway is plowed and shoveled every 3-4 inches of snow. Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available with advance notice and approval for an additional fee. There is limited or no cell service; WiFi calling is recommended. A digital guest guide with directions, house details, and local recommendations is provided before arrival.
