Clean, Quiet Daylight Basement Apt Near the U Village & Burke-Gilman
This is a large, one bedroom apartment located at 2907 NE 52nd.… This location is in a residential neighborhood just north of the U Village, 1 block from the Burke Gilman trail, and a short walk to both the village and the U of W campus.
The unit opening up is #102 which is on the ground floor of the south side of this 11 unit building. This is a daylight basement apartment with south facing windows. The south wall is the only one with windows.
The apartment has its own outside entrance and a small, fenced patio outside the front door. It is relatively large for one bedroom apartments in this neighborhood, with an accurately measured 590 square feet of space. It has lots of closet space, and additional storage space is available elsewhere in the building. It comes with reserved, off street parking as well as guest parking.
As indicated in the pictures below, there is only a partial wall divider and no door separating the bedroom area from the rest of the apartment. This allows additional natural light into the back of the unit, which is below grade. If desired, a bamboo roller shade can be ceiling mounted over the divider which, when lowered, provides additional privacy to the sleeping area.
Both the building and the neighborhood are very quiet.
The additional storage and the reserved parking are free. A minimum one year lease is required. The unit is available now. There is no smoking anywhere on the property.
This apartment is clean, quiet and an excellent value for well qualified tenants with good credit and excellent references. The building is occupied by quiet, mature working people and several grad students. It is "mom and pop" owner managed and there is also a resident manager onsite.
