The Beau Rivage Condominium Building is located at the confluence of Billy Creek and the Caloosahatchee River, near Downtown Fort Myers and a short drive Northeast of Fort Myers Beach. The river is over a mile wide at this point. The Caloosahatchee River is part of the navigable route known as the Okeechobee Waterway which connects the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean. This is essentially Florida's "cross state shortcut" for boaters who don't want to go around the Keys.
