Lease Terms & Expectations We are seeking tenants for a minimum 12-month lease. However, we understand that Blanding often attracts temporary workers and others with short-term housing needs, so we are willing to consider shorter lease terms on a case-by-case basis. Smoking and vaping are prohibited anywhere on the property. The attached 3-car garage is exclusively for the tenant's use. The right side of the driveway is reserved for tenant parking, while the left side is reserved for guests of the separate basement Airbnb. Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. Tenant Responsibilities Report maintenance issues promptly. Replace HVAC/furnace air filters every 1-3 months using filters provided by the landlord. Replace smoke detector batteries as needed (unless otherwise required by law). Replace interior light bulbs. Keep the home clean and sanitary. Remove snow and ice from walkways and the driveway. Place trash and recycling out for collection. At this time, the property does not have a lawn. If landscaping is installed in the future, tenants will be responsible for routine lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, and watering. The landlord will provide the necessary lawn equipment and fertilizer. Important Information The basement is a completely separate Airbnb with its own private entrance. Guests do not have access to the main living area of the home. Please be respectful of Airbnb guests and neighbors by keeping noise to a reasonable level, especially between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. We are relocating and are looking for tenants who are comfortable with this arrangement. For applicants interested in helping manage the Airbnb, we offer a discounted monthly rent in exchange for assisting with guest turnover and basic management responsibilities.
