The heated pool and hot tub area, located next to Burgess Creek, are open year-round, with seasonal closures for cleaning and maintenance in spring and fall. The area hosts free concerts and events, including fireworks displays and the Cowboy Downhill. The heated promenade around the base area is perfect for year-round strolling. Ski season guests benefit from proximity to slopes and lifts, while summer guests can enjoy hiking and biking trails, and a kid-friendly zone with activities. Burgess Creek flows through the base area, offering safe splashing areas and beaches. The Burgess Creek Trail, a paved path, connects to the Mount Werner Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail, providing direct access to the Yampa River and Downtown Steamboat, less than 4 miles away. The mountain village is within walking distance to activities, groceries, spirits, restaurants, and bars.

No pets or emotional support animals are allowed. Bona fide service animals are permitted with prior notification. Mid-stay cleaning fees may apply for stays longer than one week. Guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 72 hours of booking. Some amenities may not be available at all times due to seasonal closures or maintenance. Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning; fans are provided at most properties. Some properties may use a "High Occupancy Fee" for larger groups.
