The celebration featured food, wine, art and entertainment, drawing an International audience to Napa Valley during the winter months. He was instrumental in pushing through a measure to fund a mammoth flood control project that now prevents flooding in Downtown Napa and other areas affected by the Napa River during heavy rains. George is a trumpet player and surrounds himself with fellow musicians, artists, longtime friends, and family.
