An internal stairway serves as a storage area for the upstairs unit. The flat is ideal for students, professionals, or a family, suitable for 3 or 4 people. Increasing the number of tenants above 3 increases the rent by $100/tenant. Owner pays for trash, sewer, and water. Tenants are responsible for gas (variable) and electricity is fixed at $75/month, but subject to increase depending upon PG&E rates and number of tenants. Broad band internet is split with owner, ~$35/month. Street parking requires a neighborhood permit available from the City of Berkeley for an additional cost. This is a non-smoking household. Although the add says no pets, small and medium dogs are possible based upon consent of the owner.
