NEAR EMORY - FURNISHED ONE BEDROOM APT Fully furnished, apartment in the back, lower level of the house. The apartment has its own entrance and there is parking in the driveway. The bedroom is furnished with a desk and dresser but no bed at the moment. This could be negotiated. The sitting room has a Roku TV and console, couch and bookshelf. A separate kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and pots and pans and has a small table to eat at. There is also a table for two on the back deck where you can look out over a large yard and garden. Hawks and owls frequent the yard as well as a variety of other wildlife. The house is 2.7 miles from Emory and is bike-able. Closer to home is downtown Kirkwood and Bessie Branham Park. Kirkwood is almost like a small town with several restaurants, a butcher and baker, wine shop, yoga studio, post office, library, gas, police and fire stations. The bakery made it to the NYT list of top US bakeries! IMPORTANT NOTE! I have to walk through a corner of your hallway to get to the washer and dryer in the basement so I am looking for someone who doesn't mind. I always text first. Guests/tenants are welcome to use the lovely backyard as well. There is a hammock, vegetable garden and composting pile. Last note: pictures are from a variety of time periods. The older ones show the correct furniture, the newer ones are the right wall colors (pale green and white) with a mixture of my current tenants furniture and my furniture.
