About 2600 Elmwood Ave #5

You know what's different about this apartment? I built it for myself. When I was doing this remodel I kept thinking, "If I lived here, how would I want it to look and feel?" So I tore out walls. I moved things around. I added the coat closet directly by the front door because you need a place for all your things when you first walk in your home, not clutter on the floor! I personally installed beautiful wood floors to the entire space to create a luxurious and modern feeling. I gutted the galley-style kitchen and built it back up with amazing fixtures and finishes, new soft-close cabinets, deep stainless steel sink, and beautiful stainless steel appliances. I created MORE kitchen prep space by adding a wall of cabinets and counter space. I made sure there was a separate space by the window for a dining room table. Classy kitchens don't put their microwaves on the countertop, mine is built into the cabinets. The bathroom is not all that big, and I was told that it was silly to spend the money on a custom-built, floating solid-surface vanity with a ceramic vessel sink, but that's exactly what I did! And, I created a feeling of a "suite" by building a large closet outside the bedroom so that the bedroom is very spacious. But this community has more: There's coin-op laundry and storage space in the basement. The basement and hallways are clean. We have a cleaning service that keeps it that way because that's what I would want. If you would like a parking space it's only $20 a month, and occasionally a garage space become available at an additional cost. We allow pets, but both you and they need to be well behaved. And I need an additional pet fee if $50/month. Your neighbors are kind and respectful because we wouldn't have it any other way. The particulars: I've put a lot of love into this building, so I insist on renting to folks who can demonstrate that they are good people who would treat my kids' college fund as though it were their own. I ask for credit (650+), steady rental history, and strong references. Rental assistance is welcome. If that fits, we'll probably be a good match. Heat and water are included. You pay internet and wifi. Amy (my rental manager) will help you through this process. If you like it (and I know you will), you'll fill out an application. We'll check references. You'll interview with me. And if all that works out, you'll sign a lease and give you a door code. If you've gotten this far, it already shows that details matter to you too.
