There is a 2 car detached garage as well. The drive to and from Boulder is a remarkable scenic 13 mile, newly paved Boulder Canyon road, which is state maintained when snowing. You're a 20 minute walk into Nederland on the lake path, just across the street from the house or 2 minutes by car. Nederland has most everything you need. There is a full grocery store, a Mountain Peoples Coop of organic products, the awesome New Moon Bakery, it's own local bagel shop, a renowned Indian/Nepalese restaurant and a variety of other eateries, drinking spots and unique shops. There are forest hikes accessed from the house. You can see the ski slopes of Eldora Mountain Resort from the deck, which is a 10 minute drive. It is a 35 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, 15 minutes to the casinos of Black Hawk and Central City and an 55 minutes to Denver, all along the beautiful Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. The house is, in every way, the perfect mountain living experience.
