About the building

Completely remodeled eight years ago with a new Ikea kitchen and all new appliances. The house has two big bedrooms, a huge kitchen, living room, bathroom (with built in laundry closet), and a den in the rear. The 10' high ceilings make the 1200 square feet home feel more spacious than expected. Included are a microwave, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, a washer and dryer. Window mount A/C units are available for the kitchen and both bedrooms. Google Fiber already installed in home and ready to turn on. The front yard is xeriscaped, using almost exclusively native plants from Utah's desert so there is virtually no need for landscaping or watering of the front yard. The back yard has a brick patio. Although the yard is small, you have quite a bit of privacy and distance from other homes. While located between downtown and the university, the house, street, and yard and nonetheless very peaceful and quiet. Some storage is available in the small basement. Contains double pane windows throughout the home making it quiet and comfortable year round. Iowa street is a quiet, one-way street with virtually no traffic. Located at 950 E, it is within walking distance of the University of Utah and only 2 blocks from a Trax stop. You're more likely to see people walking, than driving, down the street. I've taken loving care of this cozy home and hope to find people who will do the same. People can move in June 1st. My current renters have lived in this house for the last eight years and will be out by the end of May. I'll be touching things up in the meantime. You can drive by to look at the outside but until the current tenants have moved out later this month we'll need to schedule a tour upon request.
