About the building
We lived in this house for just over a year while we built our new place.… After that, we rented it to some friends who were moving to the area and looking for a house to buy. Now we're ready to rent it out again.
We're looking for good long-term tenants and we don't do annual rent increases.
Knoxville is about an hour and 45 minutes away.
Nashville is about 2 hours.
Since it was built in 2024, everything still feels new. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, about 1,550 square feet on an acre. It's in a rural area outside Jamestown. Turn right out of the neighborhood, 12 miles on the left, is Walmart. Downtown is about the same.
The neighborhood has one entrance and no through traffic, so the only vehicles you'll see are neighbors who live further down the road. Mostly side-by-sides going by it's that kind of area. Out back, the property looks out over a big pasture where someone grows crops beans or something like that. Open view, no one building behind you.
The layout is open with cathedral ceilings and lots of windows. The kitchen was one of our favorite parts nice cabinets, stainless steel appliances. All three bedrooms are on one level, each with a walk-in closet. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity. The crawlspace is encapsulated, so you don't have to worry about moisture or musty smells. Washer and dryer hookups are next to a deep sink.
Covered porches front and back, vinyl siding so you're not spending weekends painting, and a two-car attached garage.
Internet is Twinlakes fiber, up to 8 gig.
Small dogs are fine. Tenant handles utilities and lawn care. Deposit is one month's rent. We use Zillow applications for background and credit checks.
